Hadleigh Guildhall Regeneration
As Trustee of the Hadleigh Market Feoffment Charity, the Town Council and the Charity are working on ideas to increase the utilisation rate of The Guildhall and make it sustainable for years to come, following many years of financial losses and a single offer. Diversifying the uses would provide longevity and security. They concluded a feasibility and viability study in 2021 with grant funding to the Charity provided by the Architectural Heritage Fund.
The next stage was to develop the ideas of the feasibility project and investigate costs in more detail to provide a business case to the Trustee for making the site sustainable. This work has been in progress and will be concluded in June 2023. Later in the summer of 2023, the Trustee will be provided with all the information to make a decision on the future of The Guildhall.
